What we do
We maintain a directory of renewable energy installers, publish guides on solar panels, battery storage, heat pumps and installer accreditation, and connect enquirers with MCS-certified installer partners. We install through MCS-certified partners — we are not ourselves MCS certified.
When you submit an enquiry, we pass your details to an MCS-certified installer partner relevant to your location and requirements. That partner contacts you to arrange a site survey and provide a written, itemised quote. You are under no obligation to proceed.
Areas covered
We cover all of Scotland — all 32 council areas, from the Borders to Shetland. We never reject an enquiry because of postcode. See our local authority guides for area-specific information.
How to contact us
Installation standards
We install through MCS-certified partners. We are not ourselves MCS certified. We only work with partners who hold valid MCS certification. Always verify any installer at mcscertified.com before signing.
Finance
Interest-free credit up to £30,000, subject to status. Terms and conditions apply. Full finance details are confirmed in writing before any agreement is signed.
Accreditation schemes we cover
- MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) — required for SEG registration and most funded schemes. Verify at mcscertified.com.
- TrustMark — government-endorsed quality scheme for home improvements. Verify at trustmark.org.uk.
