About Scottish Renewable Directory
Scottish Renewable Directory is a trading name of Scot Energy Efficiency Ltd, company number 17408629. We help Scottish homeowners and businesses find trusted, MCS-certified renewable energy installers across all 32 council areas.
What we do
We maintain a directory of renewable energy installers, publish guides on solar panels, battery storage, heat pumps and installer accreditation, and connect enquirers with MCS-certified installer partners. We install through MCS-certified partners — we are not ourselves MCS certified.
How we work
When you submit an enquiry through our website, we pass your details to an MCS-certified installer partner relevant to your location and requirements. That partner contacts you to arrange a site survey and provide a written, itemised quote. You are under no obligation to proceed.
Our editorial standards
Our guides are written and reviewed by our team. We do not publish invented reviews, star ratings or savings figures. Where we mention finance, we use only the wording: Interest-free credit up to £30,000, subject to status. See our Editorial Standards page for more detail.
Why Request a Quote from Scottish Energy Efficiency?
