We review your enquiry within 24 hours and pass your details to an MCS-certified installer partner covering your area. That partner contacts you to arrange a site survey and provide a written, itemised quote. You are under no obligation to proceed at any stage.
How does the site survey work?
An MCS-certified installer partner visits your property to assess roof orientation, shading, structural condition and energy usage. For rural and island properties, the survey also accounts for access, ferry timings and exposure to wind and salt. The survey is free and carries no obligation.
What should I expect in a written quote?
Your quote will be itemised and in writing, listing the panel brand and model, inverter type, system size in kWp, estimated annual generation, warranty terms, total installed cost and a proposed installation date. If anything is missing, ask for it in writing before proceeding.
How long does the process take from enquiry to installation?
We aim to respond to your enquiry within 24 hours. The site survey is typically arranged within one to two weeks. After you approve a written quote, installation is usually scheduled within two to six weeks depending on weather, installer availability and DNO notification timelines.

MCS certification confirms that an installer meets recognised quality and competency standards.
